Clutching at straws get over it prepare for life in league one

Sheffield United don't deserve to be reinstated and we wouldn't deserve to be reinstated either. If you finish in the bottom three then you get relegated. End of story.

That said, it would be bloody funny to see the uproar at Elland Road that it would cause.

Surely, if they actually did reinstate Sheffield United, which is highly unlikely, wouldn't Wet Spam get relegated instead.....thereby evening the numbers out and meaning no changes between CCC and Lge One.

Only if Wet Spam got chucked out of the Prem and the League would everybody shuffle up one.....and that's even less likely!

Or have I missed something?

West Ham have said that they'd take the Premiership to the European Courts if they get relegated now and they'd probably win so if Sheffield United are reinstated there will probably be a 21 team Premiership. That would then mean either a 23 team Championship or they'd massage the leagues, probably keeping Torquay in the league instead of the Conference and then sort it out again through relegations next season. Both of which would be absolute shambles in terms of organisation.

they cant relegate west ham now its just not right nothing can change now surely. the fixture will have to be redone as will pre-season friendlies, ticket prices too. it jut cant happen... can it?

also if west ham get relegate our centenery friendly will be more of a shambles :D

West Ham and Sheffield United's fixtures correspond in terms of home and away at the same time which is quite interesting.

Absolutely terrible... I'm not for having a pop at the Echo, but thats unexcusable really.

Do they not have proof readers?

Isn't the spelling mistake in the title of the page rather than in the headline or article itself? I think that is taking pedantry a little too far...

It's disgraceful, the title of this page is http://www.shrimperzone.com/vb/showthread.php?t=28467 now what the hell does that mean, the mods need shooting if you ask me.

You're kind of right. But, one of the options is to leave both in the Prem. If that happens then the numbers in the Championship will be uneven. However, they may just decide to leave it at that.

What would be even funnier is if the Premiership decide to relegate WH, and the Championship turn round and say there's no room for cheats in our league!

Why not ??- I certainly would.More money,bigger crowds,better football,Freddy staying.. etc etc etc

It won't happen though I am convinced of that:hilarious:

Would be nice to have another season in the Championship but to be honest it wouldnt feel right to me.

We would spend the whole season being the team that didnt deserve to be there.

Theres no chance of it happening anyway.
