That's the ODEON though, no?[b said:Quote[/b] (* ORM * @ Oct. 10 2006,23:44)]Now THAT was a proper cinema. It was big enough in my day but apparently before it was split into two it used to seat 2,750 people.
Def the Odeon, that's the Presto/Caters Supermarket next to it.[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Oct. 11 2006,09:25)]That's the ODEON though, no?[b said:Quote[/b] (* ORM * @ Oct. 10 2006,23:44)]Now THAT was a proper cinema. We're both wrong. I had another look and realised what it was - a Vauxhall Cavalier Mk 1. Look at the position of the fuel cap and the black trim above it, and then look at this photo... I'm sure of it.[b said:Quote[/b] (Shrimp in a Kilt @ Oct. 10 2006,23:54)]Morris Marina, Matt.[b said:Quote[/b] (Matt the Shrimp @ Oct. 10 2006,17:39)]Is that an Austin Allegro? Yep, I knew it was the Odeon - was looking everywhere for a Classic piccie until I found that one. What a fantastic place. The Classic wasn't a bad alternative as long as you weren't looking for new films.[b said:Quote[/b] (Beaver @ Oct. 11 2006,09:29)]Def the Odeon, that's the Presto/Caters Supermarket next to it.[b said:Quote[/b] (Xàbia Shrimper @ Oct. 11 2006,09:25)]That's the ODEON though, no?[b said:Quote[/b] (* ORM * @ Oct. 10 2006,23:44)]Now THAT was a proper cinema. No.[b said:Quote[/b] (Smudger @ Oct. 11 2006,11:39)]Is that the Westcliff Classic (latterly "The Cannon") Mike?
I remember my Dad taking me to see The Battle of Britain & Tora Tora Tora at the Ritz. The last film I saw there was Waterloo.[b said:Quote[/b] (* ORM * @ Oct. 11 2006,12:06)]Yep, I knew it was the Odeon - was looking everywhere for a Classic piccie until I found that one. Both of us usurped by Beaver though. I was six at the time but I just don't remember seeing that one.
