I'm more than happy to have Straker as a back-up left back and as a left sided mid-fielder ... thought he played well against Fleetwood (and scored of course).

He came with quite a weight of expectation and played in the team when there weaknesses in the team. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back in the team given the number of games we have coming up ... and for him to do well. :thumbsup:

We have a few players that, individually, have not had a run of games with a stable, winning other 10 players around them: if the likes of Benyon, Spicer, Martin or Strakes got in the side as a single change to a settled, winning line up then I suspect they might rise to the challenge and move onwards with confidence and show they are good players too.

I couldnt agree more with Blue and Pink, ,it would be nice to see them players in a settled ,confident team , then you should judge them, not on Southends early season form which u all agree was not good.And with 6 games in the next coupe of weeks i think they may well get their opportunity also fredy and bbc .Fellas if you do ,then its up to you to grab the opportunity ,show the manager and the fans just what you got , good luck to you all.:loyalsupporter:
