Fair play he's doing his job, but my point was that his whinging on twitter was extremely irritating. I never buy the echo as I'm hardly in the area, so I can hardly comment on the majority of his work; but what I do know is that the Echo website is a pile of **** and that little video that starts playing when you open up the homepage is possibly even more annoying than his tweets!

Thats not really Chris' fault and you can stop it by using Chrome and adblocker....

As for giving him a pat on the back, I did so before he posted, I have a lot of respect for him and I remember a time when we had terrible coverage of our club so appreciate the work he has done. He has covered some important stories for the club, gives us plenty of coverage and is a supporter.

So he might be a bit touchy on twitter, who gives a monkeys.

Not to mention their convoluted and intricate methods not to pay taxes in the countries where they operate and generate profits. At the same time the tax men press Southend United for every penny. Hmmm - doesn't quite seem fair on the club or you and me.
