Chinese Restaurant!

Theres a new Chinese Buffet place opening next to Varsity called Wok n Grill. Just been passed a leaflet.

Lunch buffet is £6.50, Evening Buffet £12.80. Add about another 1.50 to those prices at weekends.

I know of several people who've been ill after eating in Aroma, never had any bother myself though. For me, the best Chinese in the area by far is the Pearl Dragon on the seafront in Southend, though I have to say the Mr Pings around are also not too bad - their takeaways are not very good though.

Best Chinky for me is the Lon Wah in Wickford.Damn tasty!

...only trouble is it takes a lon wah for your food to come out;)

Did they go see Dr Wats Wong:)

Seaview on Sutton Road is the best, although a tad pricy its well worth it!

Yes, wasn't sure if it was still there or not as not been that way for a while. 18 years ago, I had my hen night at the Pearl Dragon while my husband had his stag do at Seaview!

Still there, haven't been for a while though, their Crispy Aromatic Duck is to die for!

Has anyone been to the new Mr Pings in Rayliegh? Brilliant service and food is fantastic. Slightly more expensive but worth every penny!

Pearl Dragon is definitely the best around, we go often for Dim Sum, and it's always got loads of Chinese people in which is a sign that it is a good restaurant!

Haven't tried Mr Ping in Rayleigh, but have the one in Benfleet and in Thorpe Bay, both nice.
