I think it could end up a cricket score with Chelsea putting a (supposed) full side out and needing a reaction in front of their own fans.

I will be mortified whenever Chelsea get a corner with our defending - just imagine Barrett trying to hold on to Drogba :(

Ah well - just hope its a great day and then its back to the league matters...

I do think they will be a bit shaky at the back. IF we can rattle them, we might get a goal what with Terry & Alex out, Carvalho barely fit and the other centre backs rarely getting a run out.

However, I do think we will most likely get beaten by a fair few goals.

You never know though. Its one of those games where I can see us getting tonked 5-1 and Chelsea going on to dominate the league after getting some confidence back. Equally, I can see the paper headlines where Chelsea sack Phil after a shock home defeat to some lowly League One side...

The biggest difference between this match and United though is the Roots Hall factor. You could visibly tell that the United players were intimidated by our little ground and that gave us a vital edge that day. This will be a very different atmosphere...

When we beat Man Yoo we hadn't won in the league for about 13 games so I'm not sure where you are coming from there.

You are right in saying we were in a poor run but I think it was 5 league games without a win before that great 1-0.We did however after getting M.U. in the draw, go though a run of 13 games with only one league victory !
I would like to think that the 6,000 of us there tomorrow will see us put up a good showing but I fear a 4-0 scoreline.
Whatever happens lets show everyone how we support OUR team.

I think Chelsea are definitely vulnerable at the back, be a whole new back 4, maybe with a couple of kids thrown in. Would hope Stanislas can have a good game and Jeff and Macca can compete well in the midfield. The problem of course is the other end- their attacking options are pretty impressive and can maybe see a 4-1 or 3-1 to Chelsea.

That is true, we did take Spurs to within 3 minutes of a penalty shoot out at their place so you never know!
