Cheap Weekend Away in July - Ideas?

If you've got a Tesco's Clubcard, how about trying to use the tokens / voucher from that ? I know they do some decent deals for a 2 night stay in a Hotel for about the quarter of the price when using the tokens / vouchers.

Unfortunately as part of my repaying my dad for all the uni loans etc he has given me a keyfob for his card and I have to pass on all the savings to him ;)

Sorry to p1ss on your chips but Seaford is a total dive mate......Cant think there is anything to do there.....Hope im worng and you do have some nice places near by but not sure about Seaford.....

It's actually in Bishopstone about 5 mins from the sea....?

We are only there for the weekend and just looking for a few walks on beach or on downs, good pub etc perhaps a jaunt in Eastbourne if we are feeling adventurous!

I'm saving my one for Alton Towers... bit of a bonus that you can use it up to the end of october... Alton Towers at Halloween is excellent, rides in the dark!

Hold on a cotton picking minute.....have I missed something here? Ive got a Tesco clubcard but didnt know about this, whats the deal can someone fill me in......

(sorry to Hijack thread)

Right, I can't get hold off my sister who stayed at this particular hotel (she could be on a plane on her way to Tenerife which would explain why!),but I think this is the one:

You could then get a day pass in to Center Parcs for one of their Spa Days as well. There are plenty of hotels around, if you google the area you want - as was said Southwold is nice, so is Saxmundham even Norwich isn't a bad place to go.

And Sam, I'm sure if you go on Tesco's clubcard website you'll see - you can exchange your vouchers for "Days Out" tokens or free admissions.

I've lived in Eastbourne for 2 years now and can honestly say i've never heard of Bishopstone. I'll echo DtS's sentiments on Seaford though, it's a nothing town with nothing to live for... The people in Seaford come to Eastbourne for nights out, which ultimately says it all.

In Eastbourne terms there's a few nice hotels along the front but they may be a little pricey. You can't beat the weather down here at the moment and there are a few nice restaurants, and the town will be relatively student-free come July so the pubs will be quiet too. There's always Beachy Head which is nice this time of year.
