Glad it's 442. We should have enough goals, energy, creativity and defensive nous in that line-up to sneak it. Not first choice but looks balanced to me.

Training is one thing. Playing is quite another - Amos was poor.
Boy in a man's game.

Amos had plenty of good touches in the first half and was no worse than anyone else in our midfield. Better than that lad King we had from Swansea and right now better than Bridge.

I liked the look of him too, and if we'd also had Woody and/or Lenny in midfield yesterday he'd have been more effective IMO.

No, I disagree. Bridge is creative and that's what we were missing yesterday, there wasn't a spark at all from any of the midfield and Amos basically was doing pretty much what Timlin was in there for.

In the last 2 games Bridge started he was virtually anonymous. I watched him in the under 21's recently and I didn't see anything that said 'pick me PB'

By the way Amos was involved in our best move of the match when he got beyond Cox and was played in. Only the best tackle of the game stopped him from shooting. We did score from the resulting corner.

Most midfield players are anonymous if they are played out of position as forwards. Strange that.

Amos missed that excellent chance because he didn't act quickly enough.

That may come as he gets older but I doubt it.

Currently he is far too lightweight for League One and his inexperience is not helping us.

In the case of Bridge, we are helping to develop other clubs' youth rather than our own.

A lot of people said that about Jack Payne and he proved them all wrong.

I don't think that Bridge will get another chance in the first team after having had the audacity to have his agent criticise his lack of first team opportunities and have a trial at Bournemouth. Been sent to the naughty step. Could explain in his current apparent lack of motivation knows he won't get a chance even when Brown says he's pulling up trees in training.

He needs to move on to restart his career.
