Charlie Mulgrew

Watched the second half of the Scotland U21 game last night. The game passed Mulgrew by a bit when he came on.

Three things stood out for me, and they were the quality of Ross McCormack - I know he is totally out of our league. The big Cental Defender who plays for Dundee Utd (been on loan at Cowdenbeath), I think his surname was Kenneth, was very good. Tall, strong and commanding. We need someone like that! And finally, and perhaps more crucially, why was the male singer from Boney M playing number 8 for Finland?

To be fair....i thought Steven Naismith had a really good game, but then again....being a Hun, he is alwys going to do his best to score at Pittodrie!!

A really obscure channel mate!!!!

Sky Sports 1

:D

Ar5e - didn't think they would bother showing such drivel.
Checked loads of websites but nothing on there!
Still, wouldn't have probably been allowed to watch it - nothing worse than an irate 2 year old shouting "My Programmes" when you're trying to give something full attention! :O

Did not know that MK was staying at yours mate!!

Is it not the usual rule that you are still eligible to play in the U21s the season that you turn 22?

Yes, thats what I thought. May even be something more strange like you just have to be 21 at the start of that batch of qualifiers (which would effectively allow you to be 23 if the qualifiers last just over a year....).

I think thats right, otherwise a team could win every game in the first year of the qualifiers, enabling them to qualify only to be ineligible for the finals

That's Cricko ineligible for the 2009 Euro championships then :whistling:

he's faster than Beckham though!
