Exactly, I personally think the budget could have stretched to include Benno as a valuable squad player. However, who knows if his decision to reject his offer was purely based on wanting 1st team football.

I knew as soon as I heard him say "Mark Bentley, free transfer" on the Crossbar Challenge at the end of last season, he would be on his way.

Good to see him score for Gillingham on Sat, hope he does well for them.

Have to say I really hope we push the boat out and try & get O'Callaghan in if the rumours are correct.
