Celebrity spotting

Craig Revell Horwood outside Camden Sainsbury's
Gary Kemp at the café next to my office
Graham Norton on a bike (wearing a helmet, waiting at a red light. Good man.) near Tower Gateway DLR.

Tommy Carcetti was at the table behind me Sunday night.

I resisted the urge to put on a Baltimore accent and complain that my bins hadn't been collected.

Many years ago I was at my local curry house in North London. I noticed they had a picture of Phil Gridelet in action for us on the wall. I asked the owner why they had that photo as I was a Southend fan and thought it odd. They said Phil went in there very often, and then they tapped a guy on the next table on the shoulder and had a quiet word with him. He turned round, it was Phil himself out for a curry with his wife. He was then playing for St. Albans...or at least that's what I thought he said, but according to Wikipedia he's never played for them. Perhaps it was Stevenage.

I'm sure the thread is celebrity spotting. Nice bloke though is Phil, had a chat with him at Cardiff.

It turns out Phil Edmonds, the dodgy England cricketer owns half of my local town, and as a landlord has just upped some shops' rents by a grand a month. Not seen him yet, but no doubt will soon.

Tim Farron the Lib Dem leader getting off a tube at Baker Street and whistling like he didn't have a care in the world. I had assumed if you believed in the concept of original sin that you would always look a bit troubled.
Just mentioned it to my wife and she said she thought their leader was a woman!

David Hasselhoff walking around Bath city centre with his much younger girlfriend.

I don't know if he counts, but I saw Matt Kaye this week. He owns the barbers where my kids get their hair cut. He's also just got engaged to Lacey Turner, who is often around our way...

One for Uncle Leo - Sat next to Sam Tomkins (Wigan/England rugby player) in our new local coffee shop/wine bar. He was with some other rugby players who I didn't recognise.

Was down at the Southampton training ground at the weekend for my U16s game and bumped into Paul Brush, who was just leaving with his Spurs academy boys. Quite chipper about his lot at the moment.

Saw Mark Gatiss walking his dog on Islington Green last night. Both Mark and his dog looked incredibly happy. Fair play to them both.

Was in a club in Bexleyheath on Saturday night and Rio Ferdinand and Jimmy Bullard were both there. Everyone was going up to Rio and he seemed friendly to everyone and was happy to take photos etc (I assumed he'd be ****ed off with all of that stuff by now but if he was he hid it well).
