As soon as it gets close they'll bottle it. Tailenders always do. Its easier to get close, but as soon as you get in the position where you should win, the pressure switches and tailenders can't cope with it.

Not that I'm superstitious, but I'm not listening. Every time I turn onto listen a wicket seems to go down!
 
Chris Wright 71* against the county who released him. Essex have discovered another bowler who looks like being more effective with the bat than with the ball. Whilst that is a match winning innings, Wright is probably going to be dropped for the next game when Masters returns.

A 99 run partnership for the 9th wicket partnership. Great stuff.
 
I'm shamed to admit i didn't even bother checking the score today .. as i was certain i'd only be checking the margin of defeat .. what a fantastic victory !!!
