Question Cav Miley - when fit would you start him straight away?

I think it’s less a question of whether he comes straight back into the side and more whether he’s still the midfielder you build around.

Who is now Maher’s spine now that Kensdale and Cardwell have gone? Do you still build around Cav or do you fit him around someone else?

I expect a lot will depend on how we go between now and then. Win the next 6 and it’s likely a very different answer to if we lose the next 6.

Absolute no brainer. I’d have him back in if was inside an iron lung. Forgetting the number of cards he picks up, we don’t have anybody else who intercepts an opposition pass or puts in a ball stealing tackle like Cav does. Pure Rolls Royce player who I don’t think we can do without and is probably irreplaceable in our budget range. Come on Cav! We need you back double quick.

Noor been weakest link lately?
Without going too far off topic, Noor is a total enigma to me. Sometimes he looks lazy or disinterested, and other times he produces pieces of skill which leaves me wide eyed in wonderment. And then he goes and has a non stop performance where he controls his part of the middle completely. Just when I think he's had a stinker of a game, the next time he is a delight to watch.

Bit depressing especially for Cav as Kev has just stated, hes still in the process of seeing a specialist about his back. That can go a number of ways and I expect there are quite a few of us on here who have experienced " Backs ", suddenly or otherwise , and know how painful it can be and how long it can take

For his sake I hope its not a severe matter ,or more permanent issue discovered that cant be rectified or treated
Wouldnt hesitate to have him back in asap
