Question Can any of you old gits help

Aberdeen Shrimper

The Man who sold the world
I received my best ever Christmas pressie when I was 8 and can not remember what it was called and want to pick the brains of the old gits on the Zone.

S**t description coming up.

Basically it has a number of ball bearings that went up a cork screw type lift and then when they got to the top they would fall over the top on to the first of 3 "drum" style things that would have a thin rubber membrane. The drum things were positioned on an oblong sheet of plastic which had the exact markings of where to place the drums so that the ball bearings would bounce from one to another and then in to a raised pot. They would then go down another spiral and along a long plastic slot in to the cork screw at the other end and the process would repeat its self.

In hope..

It sounds similar to "mousetrap" - obviously it isn't but that's the idea. I ask.

Screwball Scramble?

No,

There were 3 or 4 small (approx 6") drums that wehn position correctly on the sheet in a line with the right distances would allow the Ball bearing to bounce from one to another.

Don't think i will ever find it, have searched Google with no luck.

Plenty Greens for who ever can find it

What was the point of that game? Was there any skill involved or was it just a matter of watching the balls hopping from one side to the other?

You had a mat to position the drums but if you were feeling clever you could try and position them with out the mat.

Watch the youtube clip mate
