i sometimes work around the cambridge football club area. im leaving wickford (where i live) at 1.00. take m25, m11 then leave at junction 11. head towards cambridge past the park and ride and supermarket. straight ahead at the traffic lights then turn right at the next lights and follow the ring road past addenbrokes hospital onto edith way, keep following the ring road up, you should go past the roundabout for cherry hinton, abbey stadium and airport should be signposted. thren when you get to the main road junction turn left onto newmarket road and you will see the ground and 1,500 shrimpers. it doesnt take long
