Hmm. Bloody trains. Got the 5.45 at about 6.10, stopped outside Barking for ages.

I love it.

No. Really.

I got the 4:30pm got to the Bow Traingle sat there for a while then we went back towards Limehouse and then onto the track to Stratford and back over to Barking - delay 25 mins.

People remember it is not c2c's responsibilty to maintain the track or the overheads but Network Rail, so they cant be blamed for this. Also I thought they handled the diverting of the trains well.

If a big hole appeared in the road and you were delayed on the bus would you blame Arriva or the council (who maintain the roads) ??

Actually come to think of it I feel we should blame 'The man who likes trains' because of his self-advertised passion

I was on the same train as Bob, and I blame C2C for every single rail f**k up.I pay C2C the money, not Railtrack, so I expect the service.

Typical punter.

So you would blame Arriva for my hypothetical question? Also I am sure a bit of your taxes end up in the hands of Network Rail as well as a segment of your fare. So you do pay them. Also it is the government's fault c2c cannot maintain their own line as it was their legislation that denied the train operators from maintaining the tracks for fear of safety being compromised. Gee Railtrack did such a good job on safety

But to use your argument again, Railtrack would have sub-contracted the track repair out to someone like Jarvis, so you can't blame them (or their successor, Network Rail).....

Lol, you can't help whats happened. It's not C2C's fault so you cant really blame them. Not much point of taking it out on those workers either cos they only work for the company.

Only one thing to do really when your in a situation like that - live with it......

but us Commuters are fed up with it Vange, especially after putting the prices up again, so we have a right to moan.

and it's always the same excuse, "Overhead Power Failure". You would think by now they would've sorted out the problem.

"Lack Of Operating Staff" always makes me chuckle - why not just tell the truth, driver's can't be arsed to come to work so are chucking sickies........
