Corr gets the nod up front as expected. I fancy us to nick this one still though.

EDIT - confirmed:
Southend United ‏@SUFCRootsHall

Blues XI: Smith; Clohessy, Cresswell, Prosser, Barker; Hurst, Mkandawire, Laird, Timlin; Tomlin, Corr.

Tomlin to feed off Corr. I see a win today as long as we carrying on playing the style of footy we have been.

Completely agreed. From what I've seen Corr could thrive under this style of football. High tempo, plenty of crosses into the box. He should do great.

I can see why he's playing Corr. Ground is wet and soggy so could hold the ball so using height could be an advantage.

In a way, this is a nice change to make to mix it up. Although as a pair Britt and Tomlin have more goals in them, they are quite similar in that they both run the channels. Having Corr up front with Tomlin mixes it up and could be positive as long as we don't revert to being long and high ball merchants, because Corr's physicality will rough them up and pull them out of shape a d Tomlin will use the extra space and time to do his usual thing. Could be good!
