I assume Jefferson is getting a stamina net? Nice player for Level VI otherwise!

I got a warning from the GM's for mentioning the SZ Alliance on the sledging boards. A bit rich considering there's an open thread asking about Alliances elsewhere where people are talking about theirs!!
Which thread was it in ??

It's been deleted now. Someone wanted to know if there were any friendly leagues out there rather than cups so I pointed out the SZ Cup for next season. Normally they don't warn for first offences but because I'd made an Alliance Ad and a Friendly Ad they found it necessary to warn me. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me and I've made my point to the GM's.

Currently eagerly refreshing my news page awaiting bids. Intrigued to see how far Botham goes.

That looks healthier!

Botham seems to have stalled at 6.1m, can't believe he's gone for that. If I had known, i'd have held on for a week !

Cunningham you're not selling are you ?

Hmmm, 6.1m. Was hoping for nearer £6.5m but there you go. Switch the batting and bowling round and it probably would have been a bit more as superb isn't really good enough to play at the higher levels. Ironically though it's a Level II team that has bought him!

What it does mean is that unless Mcconnell jumps up I'm not going to be getting full interest for a little while, though with 3 home games out of 4 to finish the season that should correct itself.

I've now bid on Cunningham and have mailed the guys who were bidding so hopefully he'll still be a ShrimperZone player come match time tomorrow.

That's very low. If you bought him as 2 seperate players. i.e Qual / Resp bat and Superb / Strong bowler, both with Comp Stamina, they would cost a lot more than 6.1m combined.

Stamina didn't help, all rounders need at least strong so that's a seasons stamina training to factor into the price. I'm not overly disappointed, if you follow your theory, a superb/quality batsman and an exceptional/wonderful bowler both with superb stamina would probably set you back at least £11.4m!

The path is now clear for me to start a big all rounder training project next season, 5 or maybe 6 nets for three seasons. Lovely!

Any thoughts on what price people would let Cunningham go for? He's over £4m now.

Nyron Cunningham - 18 yo, BT Rating=20,624
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, proficient bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: quality Concentration: proficient
Bowling: worthless Consistency: woeful
Fielding: respectable

Oh and Toddy, never played on an uneven as far as I know so can't comment.

I had £5m in mind, ended up paying £4.8m to bring him home. Managed to remember to put him back into my line up as well!
