I would say before, because someone may think that they can train him up a bit more before the end of the season.

Would love to go for this guy even at £11m but depends whether I can raise the money quickly enough. What price do people think Botham will go for? May have to flog another batsman as well to make enough dough.

Well I've listed at £4m and there's already been a bid. I need to get £6.5m to be able to afford Cook who's deadline is tomorrow lunchtime. I'll keep tabs on how Beefy goes over the next 12 hours and may stick either Mcconnell or Askew on the list as well to top the prize fund up.

Why are you training Goosen?

That was a skill trade (though it took two weeks training). Unfortunately I buggered up the bid and paid too much for him in the first place so won't make that much.

Have now listed Mcconnell as well (strong/resp 18yo bat with resp stamina) for £1.2m. Now to see whether we get bids in time for tomorrow. If someone fancies kicking Mcconell off feel free, I'm sure he'll go for more than £1.2m.

Of course, if it doesn't go through in time I'll have to do a Toddy and get him back!

Cheers MARTIN. Puts me up to £9.4m. £1.6m to get.

If I picked him up it would mean Mushy (remarkable/strong) would be my weakest bowler.....

I think that you probably didn't need to put Mcconnell up as Botham will go for enough, I reckon £7.6 million.

Not looking promising, some extra bids on Mcconnell but nothing more on Beefy. How far am I willing to go I wonder?

*begins to calculate potential selling possibility of players & subsequent fees to rebuy*

Well, I've taken the drastic step of listing Cunningham to raise the additional funds, £2m if anyone can kick me off?

I will be intending on buying him back but I guess it depends how far the bidding goes!

I want him.

:finger:

I assume you've got the money now for cook, although why I'm helping you with us most likely meeting in the SZ Cup final I don't know.

It's going to be an interesting little bidding war on Friday morning!!

My bid is in for Cook. It's expensive but it will mean I won't have to touch my bowling for a long time.

Don't forget to factor in the 5% selling fee, when deciding how much you need to sell for to buy the other guy. If you are selling 10m worth of players, you are only going to get 9.5m. I did that the other week, and very nearly ended up short of the amount I needed.

I have over £12m to spend if necessary.

Which it might be as someone else had bid, boo!
