BT - OD Match 7

47.4 W Obrien to Antonius
Thick inside edge onto the pads, Obrien has the cheek to appeal. The umpire's given it! Unbelievable, he's practically middled that one! Huge show of dissent from Antonius there, he'll be lucky to keep his full match fee.

Obrien did well for that claim!!

End of Over 48: 252-10, runrate=5.25
Obrien 8-0-52-1
Sweeney* 85 (97 balls)

Need 2 good overs now

Botha* 7 (7 balls)
Brough 1 (1 balls)

Respectable stamina. Nothing seems to get listed at the moment, it's frustrating. The player offered to me would be ideal if he was a fast bowler, not FM.
If he's not excatly what you want / need then don't buy him. 7m+ is a lot to lay out for someone who doesn't quite fit your team.

I need 280 against a very tired looking bowling attack. Jackman took his only wicket with his last ball and Guy's figures were awful too!

I think you're right. Just hoping some other sod lists somebody ideal! If by this time next week no-one else has come up, then I can go for him then (I'll need to as I'll be 2 bowlers down!) as the owner is in no rush to sell.

There are a couple out there Muse, not wonderful, but close

Steven Sweeney £5,412,161 (Super Sloggers)
Plays for: Whenuapai CC Stamina: proficient W/Keeping: abysmal
Age: 24 years old Batting: woeful Concentration: respectable
BT Rating: 35,745 Bowling: remarkable Consistency: superb

Miles Donovan £6,000,000 (opening price)

Chukwu 10-0-56-1
Back* 35 (20 balls)
Booth 1 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Sutherland c. Wilkey b. Chukwu 27 (FOW: 359/4)

I looked at Sweeney, brb, but don't think he's good enough to replace a quality/strong. Only one level up on both probably isn't worth it. May see how much he's going for at the deadline. Donovan looks baseline remarkable so training him would be a frustration.

End of Over 5: 14-2, runrate=2.80, reqrunrate=3.00 (148-10)
Rowlands 3-0-8-2
Thay* 2 (8 balls)
Granville 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Thikhathali c. Walton b. Rowlands 4 (FOW: 14/2)

Bugger. Need a good stand now to ease concerns.

Should be chaseable against tired bowlers

End of Over 50: 297-9, runrate=5.94
Barrowdale 10-1-45-8
Packer* 1 (1 balls)
Donald 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Adriaan lbw b. Barrowdale 0 (FOW: 297/9)

Not quite enough I fear

End of Over 50: 286-7, runrate=5.72
Engelbrecht 10-0-45-2
Evelyn* 156 (151 balls)
Garvey 2 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Raziuddin c. Hamshaw b. Greening 8 (FOW: 281/7)

Maybe it is enough

Immortals v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Immortals won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 2: 2-2, runrate=1.00, reqrunrate=5.94 (286-7)
Middleton 1-1-0-2
Woodward* 1 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Hamshaw c. Evelyn b. Middleton 0 (FOW: 2/2)

Steady start from Mrs BB

Rehtakul Veets CC&FC v DIBS DIPPERS

DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 5: 13-0, runrate=2.60, reqrunrate=4.27 (204-10)
Payne 3-0-8-0
Potter* 8 (15 balls)
Owens 4 (15 balls)

Very pleased with my batting total, as whilst my opponents have sold a bowler or two, they still have a 170,000 BTR bowler. Griffiths further solidified his legend status with 160, and Finnan scored a late century at a good lick.

Have dismissed their nightwatchman opener. Daniels is in dodgy form, so I'm just hoping his overs aren't too expensive. I really shouldn't lose this, although they have a couple of 100,000 BTR batsmen.

End of Over 3: 10-1, runrate=3.33, reqrunrate=7.83 (377-5)
Daniels 2-0-9-0
Dowe* 4 (8 balls)
Woods 5 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Evan lbw b. Ramsden 1 (FOW: 3/1)

blimey theyre doing quite well

End of Over 7: 48-1, runrate=6.86, reqrunrate=7.30 (361-4)
Whittingham 4-0-27-1
South* 23 (24 balls)
Jeffers 23 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Watt c. Back b. Whittingham 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Could do with getting Woodward out, but content to let the RR climb a little bit. Spinners will be on in 4 overs time, so hopefully they'll slow it down a bit more

Immortals v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Immortals won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 10: 53-2, runrate=5.30, reqrunrate=5.85 (286-7)
Middleton 5-1-23-2
Gerrard* 22 (28 balls)
Woodward 30 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Hamshaw c. Evelyn b. Middleton 0 (FOW: 2/2)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Slow and steady progress for Mrs BB

Rehtakul Veets CC&FC v DIBS DIPPERS

DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 12: 32-1, runrate=2.67, reqrunrate=4.55 (204-10)
Hoult 1-0-4-0
Potter* 17 (40 balls)
Stride 9 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Owens c. Mccormick b. Payne 4 (FOW: 13/1)

And that's the end of the match. Beyond Heresy won by 10 wickets.
Sutton-Upon-Derwent CC 150-10
Beyond Heresy 151-0

End of Over 17: 151-0, runrate=8.88
Pennant 2-0-11-0
Swayne* 46 (44 balls)
Lineker 103 (58 balls)

Well that was tough

I'll let you (all ;)) know about Tapp as i need to replace him obviously and i dont want to be a AR down at the moment.

End of Over 14: 89-1, runrate=6.36, reqrunrate=5.31 (279-4)
Howson 2-0-15-0
Philip* 30 (32 balls)
Titterton 55 (51 balls)

Last Wicket: Lamb c. Chavda b. East 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Titter's flying along. Tapp and Raven are hidden at the bottom so that could cause a problem!
