Touch!

General Stars won by an innings and 32 runs.

Skittled them for just 129 in the 2nd innings! Guy 5-19 (6-33 in 1st innings)and Jackman 3-31 (4-22) did the damage.

Ratings were enough!

Good management me!

Winners! 9 wicket win after a fine bowling performance in the second innings. Must also point out that in my first innings my 9, 10 and 11 (3 each) outscored my 1, 2 and 3 (2 runs between them) and my last three wickets were worth 38 runs which is always handy.

Plummer is only invigorated after his two ODI's, if he gets back to energetic he might just get an outing on Friday.

their last 2 need to survive another 16 overs to get me a 3rd days play, can't see it happening. good bowling performance anyway, switched to uneven and the pace bowlers are loving it.

That's a rocket! But it's hit right at Halford, he juggles it and makes the catch. Outstanding fielding!

Even better news is that the leaders are 200 runs behind with 8 wickets to get in their opponents 2nd innings, got to be a draw at best which means we will be top with three to play.

Three wickets to take tomorrow, meaning I've timed it nicely, even if I did declare with 2 batsmen not out in the 90s.

Hmmm, their opponents collapsed from 190-2 to 215 all out! Still got to chase 245 tomorrow on a green pitch.

Away game, over in 2 days, max points again. YAWN. Only fun I'll have tomorrow is working out which first teamers to rest for Friday but protecting NRR impact in the inevitable defeat.

17/04/2008 Played a match and received £131,585 in gate receipts.

Fisher* 10 (17 balls)
Last Wicket: Lamb c. Holt b. Cotterill 0 (FOW: 72/10)
35.6 W Cotterill to Lamb
He's tried to slog him to mid on but all he's got is a leading edge which pops straight up to Holt. An easy catch there for Holt.
35.5 . Cotterill to Lamb
Outside off stump, left alone with a flourishing raise of the bat.
35.4 . Cotterill to Lamb
Slow delivery, swinging in. Blocked onto the off side.
35.3 W Cotterill to Hyron
Hyron goes for an agricultural stroke with mid wicket clearly on his mind but fails to make contact and his middle stump goes for a walk. Nice change of pace from Cotterill.
35.2 . Cotterill to Hyron
A dot, not worth wasting any more of the scorer's ink on that one.
35.1 W Cotterill to Glasby
Cotterill made a mess of the batsman's stumps there, I think he'd be happy to clean them up though.

A good day's work, all 6 balls of it.

Mrs BB doing OK so far today

End of Over 29 (6 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 89-1, runrate=3.07 (1st Inn: 110-10)

Leaders lost so we're now 10 clear with 3 to play. Full focus on FC now, we could have two divisions difference between FC and OD next season!
