BT Cup Round 5

Not my best ever total, but a couple of early wickets helped, and the 14 off Mapes' last over ddin't help

End of Over 13: 73-2, runrate=5.62, reqrunrate=4.84 (251-6)
Mapes 7-0-46-1
Pembridge* 21 (27 balls)
Thomas 24 (16 balls)

Last Wicket: Finnan c. Boateng b. Mapes 22 (FOW: 41/2)

113-3

I don't fancy my chances too much. I make you favourite, and would price my spread for total at 175-195.

Pembridge has poor concentration and stamina, and the next guy in is my trainee and has only respectable batting form.

And that's the end of the match. Southend won by 7 wickets.
White Lodge Wizards 165-10
Southend 168-3

End of Over 37: 168-3, runrate=4.54
Philpott 6-0-35-0
Thay* 16 (27 balls)
11 (18 balls)

Super win :D

Looks like Toddy is going to knock me out.

Griffiths, my key man on a turning track out. 168-4 chasing 252 with a run a ball now required.

Pembridge is tiring and slow-scoring, Holt wont be able to score off Gamage and whilst Ramsden and McIntosh can hit a few quick runs, it won't be enough.

Southend United win by 7 runs. Jesus, that's a shock. Mr B about to go into the last 128 too.

And Toddy knocks me out. My last 4 wickets went in 7 balls.

Ramsden, my all-rounder got 34 off 17 balls, but got out with just 9 needed in 4 and a bit overs, and the tail then just collapsed.

I've got a bot next round:
Bowled Over
Top Order: superb
Middle Order: respectable
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling:quality
Spin Bowling: sensational
Fielding: woeful

Naturally they're all in worthless form. Reckon I can win? Looks an early wickets to win job, and as bots choose to bat first anyway, I just need nice conditions.

Woo hoo! Nice work Muse & Toddy too!

We have a what looks like a very close game against a Level II team. Toddy plays Bulldogs!

Oh and is this the same Cold Rod Curtis who's been a total loser for the last two seasons?

Batting M I R n.o. Ave SR HS C st 50s 100s
Season 9 7 676 4 225.33 104.48 172 5 0 3 3

That includes an opening day duck as well!

Blimey, Nick pulled off a fair old win as well!

17/06/2007 (Cup) at Whos your Daddy
Monkey Mania 203-10
Whos your Daddy 204-3

Whos your Daddy Monkey Mania
Top Order: superb superb
Middle Order: respectable quality
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: quality proficient
Spin Bowling: respectable miraculous
Fielding: mediocre mediocre

Oh well I had sneaky suspicion i was going to lose this has the team is a bit fatigued, so now is the time to get them rested for the FLSA Cup and my promotion push.

Good luck to the lads still in.

Could have played in the SZ Cup after all!
