At this stage only teams that finished in I, II and III and 1st in Level IV are in the top half along with a few high NRR 2nd placed IV teams.

I was v unlucky, as I looked at the sides either side of my oppo in the draw and would have turned both of them over. Oh well, 3rd round again.

Got a very very tricky home game in the next round. They are 2 for 2 in their league so far and look fav's to be promoted to III this season and they get better ratings. Not sure whether to GFI, as i TIE'd yesterday and will do so Friday so they could balance each other other and i dont mind risking it for a possible £150,000 pay out if i do go thru.

The league is over, its just a case of not going down ( well ... ! - thats another point ) and improving my squad!

Next round looks winnable and I'm now on home duty.

They are in the division that I was relegated from last year. They are not a bad side, a couple of decent bats and a decent spinner. Manager is a fellow shrimper, think he posts on here, but I can't remember his SZ monicker.

I looked at your game yesterday, just as you finished your innings. I imagined you were going spare :p Mind you at one stage I thought you were going to bowl them out for about 5

I switched the PC on just as I was finishing my innings, just pleased my tail seem to be able to hang about and add a few more runs on. Thought I'd have trouble knocking them over in time but my bowlers seem to be the good karma to the batsmen's bad at the moment!

That mob certainly gave you a pasting last season. They look a solid all round team but as long as we can keep the spinner at bay I think we'll have enough. Pitch changing to hard and fast to give my 'batsmen' a chance, hopefully Sutherland and Horrigan can perform on it.
