He will be as honest as RM is to supporters re F.Farm
Also you seem to forget RM dragged the team down with his handling of Paul Sturrock and the way he handled the whole two managers at Wembley scenerio

Dont blame PB one little bit, just in case the ink is not dry at Bolton
UTD

I havent blamed PB at all, fair play if he can better himself. He's done ok here & would leave with my thanks. Just don't drag it out to the detriment of SUFC.

And trust me I havent forgotten about the RM/Sturrock embarrassment but I'm not sure what its got to do with this situation?

Why would we want to loose our manager because of speculation from another club. We still have 2 important games this week. The best man to judge who should stay or go this summer must be PB.

Good job Burnley never binned Shaun Dyche a few months ago when there was interest from else where.

We are suffering relegation form now, never mind next Christmas!......

Probably every club in the division have had relegation form over 6 games or so through the season.

Should Burton sack Clough now they are on bad form?

We had a period of relegation form when we won this division last.

Ron needs to sit him down and give him his patented look him in the eyes test.

We've all been here before: a dreary 0-0 draw in front of the TV cameras, in which the only flashpoint surrounded Payne, and the reporters turn to the publicity hungry Southend manager and ask him about the speculation linking him with another job. The chairman's already denied there has been an official approach and states that the manager is under contract and he won't be granting permission to speak to the "bigger" club's chairman. The manager's eyes however tell a different story and whilst the manager repeats the hollow line that he is happy here, what speaks louder is what he doesn't say and it becomes clear he's been informally approached and the heart is no longer in the job and already half way up the M40....

Literally the only thing convincing me it might be a good idea to keep him on is the slim possibility of the squad galvanising, us fluking a play-off win and Ron binning Brown anyway. And Bolton giving the reins to Warnock or something in the meantime.

The ludicrous RM/Sturrock siutuation was mostly Ron's doing and partly Sturrock for not telling him immediately how ridiculous an idea it was. It was not PB's fault at all.
What manager takes over a club and then watches his squad revert back to the previous manager for one match? In front of 31,000 of the club's supporters.
Silliest idea I have ever heard in relation to Southend United.
Was nothing to do with PB.
