Wheeler was probably the best in the league, so we've been spoiled for many years.
The HT "entertainment" on Friday was abysmal. I used to like watching numptys make numptys of themselves at half time trying to win a car. In fact the highlight of the first half of last season was the bloke who won it at the Millwall game (and I've no doubt the noise the crowd made lifted the team to the 3 points in the second half).
In fact I reckon there would be enough people willing to make jackarses of themselves at half time without the lure of the car (you only have to read some of the posts on here to see how low peope will go in public).
But when all is said and done, I buy a programme to wile away the fifteen minutes between halves.

I don't doubt it! If he can speak more clearly and realise he is speaking on a crappy microphone and not the radio perhaps we could appreciate him more!

I seem to remember everyone slagged Brian Wheeler and started "Bring back Jeffa" campaigns when Jeff Cox-Alleyne was given the heav-ho following CARL BAILEYgate. Give the new bloke 20 minutes to get it right and then if you still think you could do a better job send your CV or that of a colleague to Scriv.
