Bring Back TV

One show I'm fairly certain all adults (not kids) would love to chuck is Dora the Bloody Explorer.

Oh, Dora's all right. My daughter had started to speak Spanish at less than 2 years old from watching that programme.

It also kept her very quiet on some long flights when three episodes were on the in-flight entertainment of Singapore Airlines - she watched them over and over and over again.

But Lazy town is for really for pre-school market, I would never let my toddlers watch something like Power Rangers due to the violence in it.

Sadly there are thousands of parents that will let their kids watch these sorts of programmes with a packet of cheap sweets and sugar filled cheap pop and then wonder why their little angels turn into complete bstards.

I had a little boy at pre-school whose father (parents were seperated) allowed him to watch stuff like Hell Boy - even his lunch box had it on! I'd never even heard of it.

Anybody remember the 80's show of beauty and the beast with linda hamilton as the beauty and it was set in new york on the subway?

That was the nuts.

My saturday nights used to be :

A team
Price is right
TJ hooker
Hunter

Then unfortunately i had run out of "but mums" and it was bed time.

Also airwolf street hawk and terrahawks should be brought back.

Wasnt there also a programme called tripods about these things kinda like war of the worlds.

Also love the V series which has been repeated on sky.

.

Yeah, there was two seasons of Tripods before the BBC cancelled it. To be fair it was fairly slow and clunky.

V was amazing. Apparantly it's coming back in a darker, reimaging ala Battlestar Galactica. Bring it on!
