Brighton predictions

Local press down this way are saying Brighton have a few injury problem (Fat Boy Kevin Mcloud) for one and they are lacking creativity.

Based on the fact I hate them I am going for a two nil win. If we loose I may be staying in Southend for a long time.

Thank god for Friday night football, means I will be attending my first game of the season!

Unfortunately, this usually means we play badly, although this changed last year with the 3-0 win over the Gills.

I think Barney is due a goal this season so will net both (one from the spot) in a 2-1 win, we'll conceded late after taking our foot off the gas as usual.

I would like to see Revell and Harrold up front...the 2 in form strikers.

We did not play Gillingham on a friday night last season Bish, it was a Saturday 8th September (1pm kick off)

3.1 to the mighty shrimpers with 7500-8000 happy shrimpers flock to our locals with lost voices from singing:

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE

crowd around 8500
with 1000 from gay Brighton

we will go 1-0 down and come back to win it 2-1 with barnard scoring to equalise, then a 90th min header from barrett to win it at the death!!!

i hope :)

1-0 or 0-0 I reckon. You can still get 1.8 on the unders although this is at least a little bit marginal. I see no reason why we would expect to be any freescoring on Friday and given that we've only seen one goal for every sixty regular minutes of play this season, should make it with room to spare.
