Spare ticket for tonight @ Brentford. Hi - I bought two tickets for the game tonight but my fellow Shrimper cannot make it now. So I have 1 adult ticket spare - Seated - Block A Row F - seat 10 or 11. I'll be travelling up on the Travelzone ShrimperZone coach - getting on at Kent Elms 4:05pm. Anyone want the ticket - ask me for my mobile number and we can meet up somewhere before the match. UTB!

I'll take it if it is still available.

I wonder if Luggy might go 3-5-2 with our lack of midfielders. Play Woodyard, Timlin and Hurst and then Clohessy and Straker as wing backs.

Not sure he will , but think it's worth a go in this match if Laird doesn't make it.
SMITH
PHILLIPS , CRESSWELL , PROSSER
CLOHESSY , WOODYARD , TIMLIN , HURST , STRAKER
TOMLIN , CORR

SUBS : BENTLEY , BARKER , LEONARD , MARTIN , HARRIS , BENYON

I would like to see this, might catch brentford out somewhat

any news on eastwood? i know he was injured again but hadnt heard anything more

im going for 1-0 AET with hurst scoring from 35 yards and celebrating in front of rosler

Can't see anything other than a heavy defeat. Corr can't walk after 3 games in a week, Woodyard is about as strong in the midfield as a 2 week old kitten, and Barker has as much pace as a 3 legged tortoise.

Im afraid i have to agree, as ive said in a previous thread we have hit the wall at just the wrong time. the players look tired and also picking up injuries. I just hope we can keep it tight early on, if concede early it could be a very long night.
If im being honest i think it will be 2 or 3 nil loss, but PS does have a habit of getting a result when we need it. Shame we didnt get the result at roots hall which we probably should have!!! UTB

Agree. When we got it back to 2-2 Brentford were there for the taking, but Tomlin had two great chances one point blank header but was not to be. I felt we didnt really go for it in the last 15 mkns may regret that tonight.

Also we somehow need to pick our form up in the league. Tonight would be a great game to win for all the financial reasons attached, but Plymouth on Saturday is a massive game, 3 defeats and no goals in the league is not good. Also we need to get some form going ahead of Orient. I really think we can beat them over two legs but we will have to be right on top of our game. Wembley has always been a dream of mine and these orient games are a massive opportunity to realise this. But if we dont get momentum going into these games i fear dissapointment.....then what will this do to our league form.

I reckon our only chance is to get them to penalties, well we are the spot kings.
0-0 aet win on pens, come on you mighty mighty Shrimpers.

Intersting possible scenario for tonight:-

Brentford get a penalty in normal / extra time & Smith saves. Game then goes to penalties, what does PS do?

And thats my prediction, penalties..

Such pessimism! Come on guys, we played well against them in both the JPT and 3rd round match proper so why should we feel so gloomy about the replay? I'm going for a 3-2 win and I'd absolutely love it if Hurst got another "wonder" goal to shove in Rosler's face!

We didn't have injuries to our key players then though.

Brentford 4-1 Southend.

We should try 4-5-2, that would really catch them out.
