Question Brentford friendly prices

Whoopee do !! I for one have no intention to attend. Friendlies, years ago were free or small change.Who wants to see about twenty players from each side given a run out.Not me. The only friendly I will attend is Great Wakering, for a fiver, the rest can go and swivel !!

Yep same here

It doesn't make sense. I understand money is tight at SUFC. But £14 plus travel plus food for a friendly isn't worth it.

At least we're playing a team from a higher level; £14 for Brentford supporters to watch us ???

Boycott ? Some people may live nearer than others and want to support the team. Personal choice.

Precisely. It is a bit pricey, but it's a rare opportunity for me to see the team and be home within 20 minutes of the full time whistle. And to tick off another ground, which is always nice.

I think with it being a new ground for some will bring a few more people out for the game.Is strange we are playing at a neutral ground. Not a bad stadium and not that far.

Seem to remember playing Boreham Wood in the FA Cup many years ago (3-0). Lots of Arsenal supporters turned up and they 'took' the North Bank!

one of the worst days of my life, remember bgetting of the bus at the ground, going round my ,then, girlfriends house ,just bought, an alvin stardust single,my cocachoo(something like that),getting of the bus, nearly dropping the record, coz loads of b.wood fans were standing outside the spread&lion, unhindered, enjoying themselves(bloody cheek)..ditching the record, then running up to the redtelephone box, pocket full of 2 pence pieces, phoning round trying to get a"posse" up,but not with much joy..hard trying to speak to someones mum, leaving a message saying, your son should get to roots hall asp, going to be a big "punch up"..the first time i ever saw the north bank taken!!and by boreham wood..hated them from then on

Ozzie, getting "done" at home by Boreham Wood was humiliating at the time but to a degree fades with the years. Buying Alvin Stardust? No amount of time will ever erase the shame!!
