We’d be better off up front with a fresh from jail, E’ed up Nile Ranger, with his socks stuffed with a pensioners savings.

He’d still score more than this sorry bunch.

It’s understandable to a degree. Goodship scored boatloads of goals for him at Weymouth.

Sadly, it’s not like we’ve got many alternatives to force MM’s hand atm.

A spell on the sidelines might do Goodship the world of good tbh... and will allow someone else a chance to show what they can do.
 
Many on here suggested we put Dickie Taylor up top late in the game, and look how he is already causing problems for their CBs, tall and strong.

Scary that MM, a man obsessed with data analysis, took this long to notice it. Hmm.....
 
It must be so demoralising for the team to know when they go behind there’s zero chance of getting back in to it. This won’t stop until Ron finally does as he says and gets us out of this crippling embargo so we can put players on the pitch who can actually score occasionally. It’s truly heartbreaking right now. All the clubs above us gradually pulling away, before long we’ll be 12 or more points from safety with 20 games left to do something about it. Sacking the manager is pointless, no one is going to turn our ‘strikers’ into goal scorers. It would just further disrupt things, plus who would want the job anyway?
 
I love this club, and can accept mistakes, we arent in the prem. But the absolute woeful poisitioning when defending, and ridiculous lack of control on the ball that would have you shouting at your team mates in the park on a Sunday mirning if they displayedthat sort of control., Its just not good enough, we are not good enough, on and off the pitch. I see no alternative to non league next season. Tha saod i did go for Bolton 3-0 in the fantasy league so not all bad

Rush is talented. Will he save our season? I doubt it. But he may offer something different. He needs a run of games to build his confidence. We’re not exactly flush with talent up front right now, so what else do we have to lose?

He won't score goals in senior football at the moment, not in this team. We need a big strong experienced proven goal scorer. That's the only thing that will save our season
