What’s your tag on Bluesky? The problem is that blue sky is evryone on the left in their echo chamber and the right will stay with X in their echo chamber.
So where does The Southend Echo sit, do they have there own Echo chamber? The problem is that blue sky is evryone on the left in their echo chamber and the right will stay with X in their echo chamber.
Then you're using it wrong. Not only does Twitter funnel whatever horrible drivel Musk wants you to read, it’s also barely functional. Hopefully Bluesky fills up a bit more as it does feel a bit empty sometimes
Am I? I do not follow or interact with any of the blue tick accounts who seem to spend all day spreading racial hatred and fake news about groups of people they don’t like and yet my ‘For You’ page is littered with them. Then you're using it wrong.
Just use the following tab but better still just go to Bluesky.Am I? I do not follow or interact with any of the blue tick accounts who seem to spend all day spreading racial hatred and fake news about groups of people they don’t like and yet my ‘For You’ page is littered with them.
Bad faith actors on there helped whip up the riots we saw up north in the summer and yet they all still remain on there seemingly promoted by the algorithm.
If I can get rid of them, please tell me how!
Well exactly, Bluesky has a For You/Discover page and it doesn’t seem to be full of those sorts of characters. Was hoping to find out how I can make it so that Twitter’s isn’t eitherJust use the following tab but better still just go to Bluesky.
Completely agree. As it happens, Bluesky was created by Twitter before they sold to Musk. Musk revoked all rights to it so the people that created it were clear to carry on. They also used to work for Twitter so really all it is, is what Twitter used to be.I made the jump because I was fed up with the paid for blue tick bots being given priority and drowning out any interesting comments. It stifled conversation.
I only ever used the following tab so largely avoided the political nonsense.
A few things I’ve noticed since moving to Bluesky is 1. the lack of adverts and 2. they actually make improvements rather than making the user experience worse each change.
There are a few accounts who haven’t yet made the jump that I miss but overall it is a much better experience. How long that lasts, I’m not sure.

It’s disappointing. Why have SUFC stopped using their account?
Twitter stands at around at around 336 million, whereas Bluesky has around 25 million
I'd imagine a lot of the BlueSky would be companies that are live across both as well as individual subscribers also across both.
I'd imagine the pool of unique BlueSky users is small, even smaller if they are actively looking for the BlueSky equivalent of a tweet regarding Southend United.
It’s disappointing.
I’d hoped they’d sorted out their communication strategy but this is a big step backwards with Twitter usage falling and Bluesky steadily growing.
The club needs to reach all their fans, not just those on Twitter and facebook.
There are apps which allow companies to post across multiple platforms so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t use those.
But there are apps you can use that will allow you to publish on all sites at once. It won't take any more resource as you're only typing it once.I know they’ve lost someone in that department, so back to having people helping out on areas that aren’t their main roles.
That might explain it.
