Backing up fbm's post, and not wishing to sound like a Steve Kavanagh bum-licker I can only see good things to come from appointing an experienced CEO who knows the job.

The problems with Blues Player were brought up in our original meeting so it shows our Fans Forum meetings are working.

In my uni house I have a Bradford and Burnley fan and their player services have had this feature for ages much to my annoyance. Glad we have got there now. They also do the 2-4 minute highlights which we have and they have an additional extended highlights with more key chances which is normally 8-12 minutes which could be something that blues player does in the future. Going in the right direction though!

This is great news indeed, just resubscribed to blues player. As mentioned previously the option to watch the highlights without seeing the score would be hugely welcomed!

Brilliant news! Don't go to (m)any games at the mo, so feel really detached, but this will be brilliant to be able to watch full games and be better judge in players and performances.

Anyone know how quick the matches will get online?

Feels like the Club are being dragged kicking and screaming from the stone age, actually using social media and now this, watched the second 45 earlier, superb!

Interesting. It'll be interesting to see how quickly after games the 90 minutes is up on the site and whether it's possible to navigate to highlights without seeing the score. I'd love to be able to watch a couple of matches without know how they finish. That would be the next best thing to being there.

I couldn't not see the score of a Blues game unless it was a meaningless match and then I probably wouldn't want to watch it for 90 mins anyway.

By the comments on here it not only sounds an excellent addition but a very good commercial one. It appears to already be attracting new clients and giving reason for others to resubscribe. In spite of its faults I would find it difficult to be without BP live commentary (even when it's very flat!), and have to go back to relying on live texts. Even before this event I would agree with turkishm when he states that BP is a must for overseas Blues............marvellous, that it's now got even better.

I'd find it difficult - particularly a Saturday game. But if I knew that within 24 hours I could watch a stream of the whole game then I'd be tempted to find a way.

Ill just enjoy being able to re-watch a game, or catch up on one Ive missed on a Sunday. Just hope they get the match up pretty promptly.

I can imagine that there will be a few times in the future, that for one reason or another, I will not be able to listen to live commentary of the match, relayed to my mobile from the computer at home, when I'm working in Toulouse. I can avoid seeing the score on Saturday night and when I get home around 10pm on Sunday I have a meal and can't go to bed for a couple of hours afterwards. Watching the whole of Saturday's game, if it's on line by then, must beat going to sleep on the armchair!
By the way, I have a feeling that I would be more likely to watch the whole match when we have been defeated, rather than just the highlights, which I often shy away from looking at.

Stream.

Id imagine downloading would open a kettle of worms.

You can now download with iPlayer, so the tech is out there with a once started watching need to watch within X days then it expires. This is a good step forward from what Blues player was but downloadable and you have a great offering as you can then watch on the move.

Downloading would definitely be better but as you say would require a proper system with encrypted files rather than a downloaded avi file that could be shared.

Not that theres a massive black market demand for a 0-0 between Southend and Accrington Stanley...

If only we had held out for 0-0, could make all the difference at the end of the season.
