Blues in talks with McGlashan

Unpleasant impetuous little diver, however if he comes to us and does the business.....:stunned:

No one seemed to mind when Anthony Grant went down easily for years, and to a lesser extent Leonard too. Is it only unpleasant when the opposition do it? I'm guessing from your :stunned: no!

Personally, on paper, I think McGlashan is the type of player we need.

He is quick, direct and chips in with goals, which is something we have been lacking from our wide players, and midfielders in general.

What I will say, is wingers are generally hit and miss, especially at our level. Straker, Weston, Worrall & Hurst have all proved this in recent seasons, and to an extend, McLaughin as well.

Even at the top level, look at Lennon, Walcott, Oxlaide-Chamberlain and Sterling. The key is having more hot days than cold.

Doesn't strike me as a "team player" , all about me me me.......please prove me wrong....as an aside ...Demitrou (chk sp) is a go-getter, with the best will in the world , do we really need 2 out of the same box?

Saw him for the first time last season up close in the first half at home against the Gills. Didn't know who he was, but he stood out. Quick feet, good close control and fast. If the money is right, would be a good addition to the squad.

Repeating what others have said he has caused us problems in the past. What he lacks is a good final ball but then that's similar to most below championship level.

I agree with that performance against us, however my Gills season ticket holder friends are not crying in their beer, as his performances were seen as very hit or miss, with little consistency, inability to score or provide a decent final ball regularly. They were also deadly accurate on their assessment of Weston when released and we picked him up.
Still you never know, so have to hope the change of club brings some improvement? Will probably start well though.

People saying that he goes over easily / dives etc. Has anyone watched Leonard during the last few years and Grant before that. The way Lenny goes over at times is laughable. Rightly or wrongly it's part of the game these days. Shame Clyne didn't go over last night mindu!
