TBV in the West or North

The club have emailed i'm guessing just W block seasos and wish us to embrace block NB North bank from the Oldham game 29th March till last home game. Listing easy contacts to make the move and stipulating, after consultation, that this is where the Blue Voice would be desired location.
We'll go.
Hope to see the rest of the guys from W, sing up Southend.
Perhaps at season end they (and we) can sum it up for future gatherings.
Personally hope everyone gets behind it, come join us because the sound is great from the pitch and i prefer the view.
So as the email stipulates, Blue Voice in designated NB block North bank.

I must admit W block was seriously good Saturday and I do wonder weather the North is worth the aggro
It would sound seriously good x 2 in the North though!

We 'should' be consistently top half of the table next season (if we don't go up), where crowds could average around the 8k mark; Roots Hall would be rocking with some help from the other stands.

Does anyone really think having TBV in the North would increase the atmosphere in the West or the East? I mean, I’ll give it a go .. try and get V block going 😬

Stay in the West

Hopefully when they get a Bar in the North Bank for Southend fans I sure loads will give the North a go we give the West Stand ago in singing ;-)

It would definitely improve the East. It sounds loud in the when your in the West but at the moment 2/300 away fans can drown out the the TVB when your in the East.

There has been 10,000 posts as to why we aren't in the play offs already. The simple answer is our home form on Saturdays. Plenty on here demand L1 levels of recruitment, standard of play, tactics and management. Time for our fans to also step up and be part of the promotion push.

The best value option would be the whole of the North for home fans. With a fan zone behind the North or North East corner. Its also the only option when the East gets rebuilt. Add some access to the West via the NW corner and everyone could meet pre match and H/T.

Now imagine happy hour on Friday night from 6 till 7. Visiting teams with less than 100 will be beaten when they jog out. Once everyone tries it for few games with positive attitude, I guarantee we will never go back.

The issue is the rest of the west rarely join in the chants besides occasional clapping. TBV is by far better suited to the north behind the goal with superior acoustics and the entire stand being dedicated to standing.

North Bank Reopens

Following collaborative efforts with The Shrimpers Trust and The Blue Voice, we will be reopening the Solopress North Bank stand to home supporters for our final four home games.

The Shrimpers Trust will be running a fundraiser to put money towards various matchday items such as flags, balloons and potential displays that will help encourage and improve the atmosphere which the club have agreed to match up to a £2,500 cap.

As well as partnering on the fundraiser, The Blue Voice will be relocating themselves in Block NB of the Solopress North Bank to create a focal point for active support.

Supporters can move their season ticket seats to the Solopress North Bank free of charge, as we look to roar our lads home from all four sides of the stadium. We encourage supporters who wish to show their vocal support to the team to base themselves in Block NB – especially ahead of our dedicated ‘Flag Day’ against Wealdstone, with more details to be revealed in the future.

How do I move my seat?

  1. Email tickets@southend-united.co.uk with your SHR number, confirming that you are happy to relocate and be a part of our Blue Voice for the remainder of the season.
  2. Call the BTMK Box Office on 03444 77 00 77 – option 1.
  3. Visit the BTMK Box Office and discuss your move.
If I move my seat, will I be able to keep my original seat for 2025/26 season?

Yes, season ticket holders who relocate to the North Bank will be given a dedicated swap period to move back to their original seats in the summer, should they wish to.
