I know 4 men who visit roots hall on the strength of the blue belles alone, so loose them and loose the £16 enterance fee, swings and roundabouts I say...

Exactly!

He used to be in the 'So Solid Crew'. He now presents a lot of kids tv on Sky and he played in 'The Match' with Terry Alderton, which is probably why we've got him to perform. He used to play semi pro at Ford Utd and now plays alongside Belgrave at Lewes. Other than producing crap music, he's most arrogant tosspot imaginable.

The only possible good thing to come out of it is that loads of adoring little girls will probably force their families to come along just for him, and thus giving us some extra revenue.

Well, I dont usually complain but I am getting a bit bored of the half time entertainment each week. You see little kids dribbling as soon as they come out for their half time dance.

Now im all for half time entertainment but they also seem to be getting younger, what next 5 year olds doing the dancing?!.

Call me an old fart but I would rather just chat about the game with the people around me rather than having 14/15 year olds trying to attempt to dance.
Luckily I can do two things at once. Yes, I chat to people around me while watching the girls. Incredible I know but there you are!

My only complaint is that they do everything facing the main stand. It would be nice to see them a bit nearer the West occasionally!

Come on, it's half time entertainment. They are miles better than the Pulse cheerleaders, and it's a chance for the club to try and do something different so we feel we are getting our moneys worth.

Keep 'em I say.

I can't say I enjoy the Bluebelles but if we didn't have them at half time what would we have?

Police dog displays?

That nutter from southend high street and his pet Owls?

Roy Walker from catchphrase drawing the halftime raffle?

I think the current owners of the club deserve some credit for making half time a lot more entertaining than it used to be.

I dream of the day when I get to shoot for a Ford Fiesta. I could park it next to Michael Husbands one in the carpark.

How smart would that look?

That's mainly why I moved to the East.

I would hazard a guess these girls do not come cheap to perform if they are already performing at the likes of Premier$hite outfits. Even if its not a major amount, I'd much rather we improved the squad with that money rather pay jumped up 12 year olds (try to) dance around! Sorry!
Aren't they paid for by Sky Sports? That's why they're never around when the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final is being played; because they're at Old Trafford for that.

I reckon probably three people I drag along regularly would put the Blue Belles as at least half the reason they even go. Believe me, it's not easy convincing people to go!

Definitely agree with the West Stand point. Presumably they perform towards the directors but they all disappear at half time and the 'family' stand, I'm sure would appreciate them more.

ORM sits in the west? Could do with you around the mid 90s nearish the front when all the Maher whingers start going!

Unprofessional and, moreso, unethical behaviour have never been a problem to Evans.

At least he's attempted to make something of himself following his stint in the Crew.

Most of the rest of them have futhered their careers, following "21 Seconds", by possessing firearms and/or serving time at Her Majesty's Pleasure.

That was a good pop song though - I think it's a shame it all went wrong for them as they had far more talent than your average 'boyband'.

Is this Terry Alderton's influence getting him down after appearing on 'The Match' together and if so who else can we look forward to at future matches. Ralf Little appearing as 'Our Anthony' and making 'brews' for the crowd?

Didnt the So Solid 're-invent' themselves without Megaman, Harvey, Lisa Maffia, Miss Dynamite et al. I think they just got a load of new people in to record the second album which isn't too bad (broken arrows is a top tune)

Anyway to stay on topic I can't believe that people are moaning about the Blue Belles! C'mon guys lifes too short!

Probably the better view is from the West, although as you say they are further away.

Fair point. I do enjoy the view sometimes I must be honest.
