Why put a blind person in there?

Precisely, curtains in every room.

I've never seen the fascination for these types of programmes but surely it makes sense to see how a normal cross section of society gets on rather than dragging out a freak show. For any BB fanatic what was the first series like ?

The first series, all those years ago when Craig the Scouse builder won was light years away from where they are now. It was so innocent in comparison, people didn't play up to the cameras 24/7 and there was far less exhibitionism. The denoument of Nasty Nick was tv gold, I can't imagine how that would work in the current series. Even up to about series 4 or 5, around the Jade Goody time, it was still fun to watch - not now though.

For any BB fanatic what was the first series like ?

I'm not a BB fanatic, but the first BB was a genuinely fascinating sociological experiment.

The current stuff is a mindless, freak-show circus act. It's astonishing that anyone would want to waste a second of their lives watching the fame-whores who crave their nanosecond in the spotlight by auditioning to go on the show.

kind of have mixed views... Dennis was an evil fecker and so would have liked to have seen him stay and p*ss more people off and then get evicted and booed... now the house will settle down, especially as sylvia will def get evicted tonight too

this years BB is so much better than previous ones as there are some properly nasty and evil people in there... it's made great viewing!
