Nice to see people have to turned from Walker to Betsy as a scapegoat, shows how good some people are. I know he didn't play well but at this moment in time you have to get behind the players, not hate them. At this rate the only player who'll be playing well is Herd. Get behind him lads. I know i will.

I never boo or slag off anyone in a blue shirt. But you have to ask yourself sometimes are the players really giving it their all.

When we signed Betsy I thought he would be quite an exciting player to watch but I cannot recall him at any time this season taking on his man and putting the ball in the box.

He rarely gets back to help the right back either, weather that be Francis or Sankofa.

he was awful yesterday got booked when it could have been red for a stupid tackle hut while he is 1 of our only fit wingers we should support him as much as anybody else

Now you've raised that tackle, I thought it was Betsy, but people were saying it was Christophe and it definately said on the radio Christophe had picked up his 5th card and would miss next Saturday's game.

For whatever reason, Betsy has clearly not been able to fit into the team. He still has the pace and can run with the ball but seems scared to take players on, so checks and looks for an easier option. His control in receiving passes yesterday was poor, shame, cos he seemed a decent guy.

at the start of the season he looked promising, but lately he has been pure jank. his performances has not been upto this standard. whether it's a kick up the jacksy or a bit of a confidence builind talk needed, something needs to be done because he isn't creating chances on a regular basis. he's the only winger i know that is too scared to skin as opponent or cross the bull. all he does in turn inside or go back on himself. either way i can't see the point in getting on his back at games.... but that will change if his form doesn't

Got to say here and now...I actually think Betsy does have something to offer us, but I would rather see him used in the centre when he does play as he hasn't got the pace or trickery we require from an out and out winger, and he often insists on going outside to beat his man which will never work with the lack of legs.

Wasn't a bad player at the start of the season when he seemed to be stuck in a more attacking area on the right side of midfield.

At the end of the day, when Theo was out on that wing for part of the second half, he put 3 or 4 quality balls. In the whole of the first half, I can't remember Betsy putting in one tbh. He was so poor it is untrue but booing him is not going to be the answer

As you all know I am a fan of Betsy's and think he has a cracking talent but has hit a poor run of form recently. And I have to agree he had a howler yesterday and I found myself saying on a couple of occasions 'Jesus christ Betsy sort it out'! Or something along those lines ;)

But no matter how bad he plays or played I will never ever boo him or get on his back and start shouting abuse like some of the mindless idiots were in my stand. Clueless fans who just seem to enjoy coming to the game to shout abuse at people. Get behind the team FFS!!

Also I would like to mention the booing towards Nathan Jones?? What was that all about? What did he ever do wrong to deserve being booed? Correct me if I am wrong but he was **** hot for us and got voted player of the season before he left us. What is it with us booing players who leave to try and make something of themselves? Would you boo Flahavan/Gower or Eastwood if they played against us?

Ian...cast your mind back to his performances in a winning team at the start of the season...he actually looked quite assured and composed on the ball.

I think there is a big difference between having a moan about players on shrimperzone or in the pub after the match rather than actually having a go and booing players at games, we all will form opinions on players but as 'supporters' our job at games is to get behind the lads and spur them on, no matter how awful we think they are. I for one dont rate Betsy at all but all the time he is on the pitch it is pointless to do anything other than show encouragement and support, as it should be with all our players.

Yup - Betsy was so good he was subbed at half time. I wouldn't 'boo' anyone in a blue shirt but I cringe inside whenever I see him within 20 yards of the ball.

I didnt understand that either. Its not like he was there one season and then left us for a "bigger" club (Constantine, Carruthers). Like you said Ricey he was voted player of the season on one occasion.
