Best place to sit at the hall?

i was just talking to my mate at work and he is a sth in the east and i am in the south upper. where does everyone think the best place to sit? atmosphere, cheering and view etc etc?

apparently with south upper it sounds loud when your there but in other stands you can't hear anything?

never really hear the south upper much from the west stand on the half way line (which i think is a pretty good spot if you are about row p)

Back row of east yellows and blues good atmosphere, bar open all game downstairs, get to stand up all game with no hassle! stewards are good only 1 post blocking view MAX! unlike the west!

I like the East greens, although couldnt get a season ticket there.

Best view in the stadium and no posts !

Atmosphere ok, nothing special.

Goes to show how bad acoustics are at RH, you can hear the South Stand where I sit, but its not loud. Rarely hear the West Stand at all...

its weird as when your up there is plenty of chants going on and it seems pretty loud when your up there. i do think its because the stands aren't that big and noise doesn't stay in the ground like most newer stadiums!

West Stand is the best as the atmosphere is great when things are going well and when they are not the pillars and ladder block the view of the awful football sometimes on show over the years.

Can't stand the ''barmy army'' chant from the South Upper.

I'm in east green, near the dug out. Good view of the pitch, can see/hear what's going on in the technical area. Downside is poor atmosphere/singing.

i like the west in block v as long as you aint behind the second row of pllars, normally a fairly decent atmosphere, i fancy giving the south upper a go though,

East Greens - back row, so I can stand up...

First few rows of the South Upper is the best view in any footie stadium I've been in. High up and close to the pitch.

Spot on that man....

Totally unspolit view, next to pitch and ideal to abuse away players taking/defending corners.

South Upper is great for half the game but things are a bit distant at the other end and you tend to lose your perspective of distance, well I do anyway, however there are plenty of fans up there who can see better than the linesman at the other end.

I would like to try the seats next to the dug outs just to hear whats going on.

And don't forget the linesman....

I don't think I'd swap my season ticket seat for any other in the ground.

Best place to be is in the north bank but as we can't anymore then i'm up the back of East Red so i can stand up and abuse the opposing manager,i can see all of the pitch, see Tilly, see the subs and see the famous faces in the prawn sandwich auditorium in the middle. Nice not to hear the South too well 'cos all they ever sing is "barmy army" -eh?

West stand near the North Bank. Generally quite noisy and when we're playing badly there's plenty of banter. Also for sentimental reasons because I used to stand there with my dad when I was a kid.

Still miss the North Bank when it was home end though.

I've sat in the same West Stand seats since 91, close to the away fans and plenty of good banter. Have been in South Upper, it's okay but when it's a cold day you really feel it up there.

I used to sit 1st row of the East blues right at the north bank end, along the goal line, loved sitting there, was brilliant and being close to the North Bank we'd join in their songs too
