Best on the way home from school ice-cream.

DTS

The Business
Ben in the office has just claimed I think somewhat wildly that Orange Maids were in fact the best ice-cream/lolly to eat when you were walking home from school.

The correct answer was in fact "Funny Feet" altough I would have accepted "Screwball" as an answer too...

Anyone else got a standpoint on this one.

Lemonade Sparkles or FAB lollies. Saying that - on the way home from school i used to think having a cider lolly was very grown up

I was always a Zoom man myself...

Although Fab's were pretty, um.... fab!

Failing that, a good old fashioned Lemonade Sparkle!

The only ice lolly that would pass my lips as a 6 year old was the vibrant green Mr Man lolly. It was the brightest apple green colour man has ever seen but it wasnt apple flavour.

It tasted sort of generic fruit flavour but it was the green-ness of the lolly that won out. Blimey there's a smiley thats exactly the same colour so think ----> :D but much brighter.

a blue or green partially melted 5p Mr. Freeze, complete with lots of dodgy E numbers. They were also very good light-sabres.

And after you have eaten it your mum (or for the PC age your parent or carer) hygienically licks her hankie and wipes your face clean. Then rams that same hankie into your eye-ball to get rid of that small fly that has just flown into it.

I thought that was Hils posting for a minute ;)

Oi! I was a Mayfair or a Sovereign girlie. I remember when a pack of 10 used to cost £1.25.....

And i've just come back from one of the schools I work at. There was an ice cream van outside there with lots of kiddies with their ice creams. That's fair enough, but it's bloody cold, wet and windy outside.
