Hansen for me - by a country mile.

Would have agreed with you a few years ago. He use to be the best pundit by far, but now he seems no longer interested and almost reduced to repeating catch phrases.

Maybe that is unfair - I hardly watch MotD any more due to my indifference about the Premier$hite and the mind-numbingly poor "analysis", so I might have just caught him when he's hungover or with his mind concentrated on the next Morrison's advert.

and the mind-numbingly poor "analysis",
That’s what you are missing out on then Yorkie, Spend some time listening to Merse with the classic lines already mentioned by SUFCintheprem like “He's passed it to him and then he's taken a touch and then he's flicked it in front and then banged it.”

That should renew your enthusiasm for the Premiership.

I can't abide Merson. He's the English language's worst enemy.

Merson is brilliantly dreadful. I have come to love his rape of our Mother Tongue, and his wonderful indifference when a match doesn't tickle his fancy:

Stelling: 'So what's happening Paul?'
Merson: 'I wasn't watching to be honest.'

Top notch.
