Maybe we can get hime to extend his contract for a Year or two then sell him in the Summer anyway? This way we will get some money out of it...

That would be nice, but Bentley won't agree to it as it doesn't benefit him in any way.

In terms of Dan's development, whatever club he signs for in the summer I think they should consider loaning him to us if he isn't in their immediate plans... What could be better than the club he feels most at home. I think that's the best we can hope for.

Spoke to someone in the know about this, QPR aren't interested anymore & there is only 1 other club who has been mentioned who haven't made any approach but are still in the background watching & that is Hull City.

Ron seems quite prepared to go to tribunal over the fee

Hardly a surprise QPR aren't interested. They've signed 2 keepers since their bid for Bentley.

We won't be "done over", as I said before, as long as Dan doesn't move abroad we will not get less than £1.25m which was QPR's official bid for him.

I might be missing something as I've not seen any official rule to back up your claim. Can you point me in the right direction?

Bentley I believe will definitely not sign a new contract. He quite rightly like any of us wants to progress his career and get paid much more!!! The only real way of doing this in all honesty is by leaving.
his contract will expire in a few months and we cannot be expected to receive a transfer tribunal fee as much as was offered by QPR last season because of this.
