Well, it's a season defining game today, 6th against 8th. Win and I'm virtually guaranteed 6th spot and a play-off, lose and it will probably come down to NRR as to who is automatically down and who isn't.

He's a bit of a two-man team, one player with a BTR of 192t, and one of 41t. Wish me luck !

We've lost the toss and are in the dirt...

1.1 W Blackbourn to Stone
Slight movement away from him and a thin edge is taken by Raziuddin, tumbling away to his right.

End of Over 1: 6-0, runrate=6.00
Connelly 1-0-2-0
Stone* 1 (2 balls)
Sweeney 1 (4 balls)

A good start, but not the the 190k man unfortunately

4th v 3rd here. My pitch stuck on slow on it's way to flat so not sure what to expect. The big news is that Curtis has made it through the first 5 overs on his return to opening bat!

End of Over 5: 26-0, runrate=5.20
Mcintosh 3-0-20-0
Askew* 12 (19 balls)
Curtis 13 (11 balls)

Could Curtis finally be in the mood?

End of Over 7: 44-0, runrate=6.29
Mcintosh 4-0-30-0
Askew* 14 (22 balls)
Curtis 29 (20 balls)

EDIT:

7.4 W Makooi to Curtis
Great fielding by Fallon at extra cover. He swooped, picked up the ball and hit the stumps, though he only had one to aim at.

My season is already over and am pre-paring for next season already. Will finish between 2nd and 4th as the top spot is already wrapepd up!

This is not good, I decided not to TIE at the last minute but wish I had now as I can see us collapsing yet again:

End of Over 9: 59-2, runrate=6.56
Mcintosh 5-0-38-1
Maymann* 7 (5 balls)
Sajjad 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Askew c. Maylett b. Mcintosh 21 (FOW: 51/2)

Another awesome performance from my top batsmen!

End of Over 11: 62-4, runrate=5.64
Aujla 1-0-1-1
Sajjad* 1 (4 balls)
San 0 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Moore c. Maylett b. Aujla 0 (FOW: 62/4)

Their bowling reporters summary has been competent/competent pretty much all season.

I cant even get into my fixtures ...

We can tell you that Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI won the toss and elected to field

End of Over 15: 42-3, runrate=2.80
Dawson 1-0-6-0
Howson* 13 (32 balls)
Orr 25 (41 balls)

Last Wicket: Lyth c. Flynn b. Daniels 0 (FOW: 2/3)

Bloody hell 2 for 3 was a start. Can't remember who I'm playing and where their best players bat. No doubt I'll end up doing an Essex and having got them under the cosh, let them off the hook.

Saj and San managed to get some respectability to the innings with a 70 partnership but both went quickly and we're now in the dead zone of the innings

End of Over 29: 151-6, runrate=5.21
Fallon 5-1-28-0
Holsgrove* 8 (19 balls)
Sheppard 2 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Sajjad lbw b. Makooi 42 (FOW: 148/6)

Still a game that could go either way, although I am now into his Woeful middle order. Just need to get Sweeny out...

End of Over 30: 151-4, runrate=5.03
Blackbourn 10-0-49-3
Sweeney* 79 (75 balls)
Cohen 11 (22 balls)

Last Wicket: Howey c. Adams b. Blackbourn 0 (FOW: 112/4)

HKB

End of Over 30: 97-5, runrate=3.23
Irfan 5-0-20-0
Carter-harris* 2 (13 balls)
Hope 26 (39 balls)

Last Wicket: Orr c. Flynn b. Dawson 37 (FOW: 73/5)

Every run is valuable....

End of Over 33: 170-6, runrate=5.15
Aujla 7-0-25-1
Sheppard* 11 (20 balls)
Holsgrove 16 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Sajjad lbw b. Makooi 42 (FOW: 148/6)

Popped out to get some lunch, and came back to find they had had a bit of a collapse.

End of Over 37: 173-8, runrate=4.68
Oconnor 9-0-35-1
Sweeney* 94 (89 balls)
Chamberlain 1 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Briggs c. Adams b. Etherington 1 (FOW: 169/8)

HKB

End of Over 38: 120-7, runrate=3.16
Livingstone 9-1-32-2
Dunning* 0 (2 balls)
Gobern 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Carter-harris lbw b. Livingstone 17 (FOW: 120/7)

End of Over 44: 200-10, runrate=4.55
Lindani 6-0-39-3
Sweeney* 114 (104 balls)

Happy with that.

HKB

End of Over 41: 132-10, runrate=3.22
Ramsden 6-0-21-3
Atkins* 0 (0 balls)

Playing the bottom team and would have prefered to bowl first and get them out cheaply, but have been put in to bat,

End of Over 46: 303-1, runrate=6.59
Husbands 8-0-50-1
Bartlett* 121 (123 balls)
Sugden 144 (125 balls)

Last Wicket: Flood c. Rudi b. Husbands 24 (FOW: 39/1)

TIE against 3rd bottom. I;m at home and they batted first on my dusty track and got:

End of Over 50: 233-5, runrate=4.66
Dodd 10-0-50-1
Best* 52 (47 balls)
Gledhill 8 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Uppal b. Dodd 13 (FOW: 211/5)

This game could be tight... Not at all confident of getting that target.

Made 229 all out off 49.4 so just hope my bowlers can do some damage and knock out his openers early as I set them attacking.

Got 244 all out. 105 from Titterton helped. His poor fitness is really holding him back so gunna put 2 nets on his fitness as from monday.

They are 27-0 after 7 overs!

Look's like it's going to go to the wire..

End of Over 15: 58-2, runrate=3.87, reqrunrate=4.09 (200-10)
Chamberlain 3-1-13-0
Evelyn* 10 (10 balls)
Thackeray 23 (46 balls)

Last Wicket: Tselane c. James b. London 21 (FOW: 40/2)

HKB

End of Over 18: 108-0, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=0.78 (132-10)
Hope 4-0-28-0
Griffith* 54 (57 balls)
Keigher 54 (51 balls)
