Battrick - Week 8 pops

B with all your transferring do you feel the gains you have made in your primary skills are weighed up for the losses in secondaries from your original players.

I have 4 original batsman trainees all with wonderfull Concentration. All bar one, as he only has comp batting, will be in my team long term.

You've gained a few levels in Primary but not all of you players seem to have the same level secondary as primary. The higher you go will this be a weakness?

I'm not sure, I didn't get much benefit from the original training as I spent the first season training stamina on crap players and the second season rebuilding a team of half decent trainees. I've never had any players with very high secondaries other than San and Askew who are both proficient primary which definitely won't be good enough going forward. As it stands, three of my bowlers have their secondary within a level of their primary which I think is good enough. I'm going to lump a fielding net back on Suthers soon to bring him up to scratch :evil laugh: and Mushy seems to be doing ok for himself at Quality/Strong. The batting will then be a long overhaul job as it's always been the naff part of my team anyway. My two trainees Cunningham and Mcconnell are Superb/Proficient and Proficient/Respectable and are getting fielding nets so will definitely be better balanced, I plan to only train batsmen in the future so will be bringing through similar types of players to ultimately replace the existing ones.

I think me and B are in the same boat when it comes to the batting part of our team. His team are obviously a little ;) stronger than mine but we have progressed in the same kind of way!
