Top of the table clash for me today. Should win comfortably, but I'm PAN just to make sure, as my fitness is a bit low after GFI'ing during my Cup defeat on Saturday.

Bah, I wanted to bowl first at Highton. They are a good, solid all-round team with no superstars. I think my best chance in beating them lay in inserting them on their green wicket and bowling them out for a below par score.

As I think the weather is sunny, hopefully I can rack up a decent enough score. The key in that lies in at least one of my openers getting a ton and a couple of other players staying with him for a big partnership.

Full and rather wide outside off stump but Kesterton fails to cash in. The ball is forced into the ground and it tamely bounces away to cover point as all the pace is lost from the stroke.

Thin edge and gone. Great take by Conelly, diving to his left!

Shortish ball straightens alarmingly on Greer, he's squared right around on the crease, gets a huge leading edge which flies up in the air, Bowden hurries forward from mid off and slides to take the catch low to the ground.

Lynch shouts like a kid on Christmas morning, and the umpire's given him out LBW!

Reed has a BTR of 42K so it was certainly nice to take him out first ball:)

Had to be said, Saj now gets a chance to redeem himself as a No. 4. Good knock from Askew, he never scores big but exceptional concentration means you can almost always rely on him to add a reasonable amount of runs.

They made 52 all out, with wickets spread nicely, and i made the total in 10.2 overs with no loss... NRR gain of 3.2, which means a 6.4 gain on them as they were second.. perfect!
