Unbelievable Jeff in Mrs BB's league. Muse needed to beat the leaders, whilst hoping the 2nd placed side lost to the bottom team, to secure the division and and a play-off to get back into I.1.

Muse was 120/5 chasing 238, but is currently 225/5 with 5 overs to go, whilst the 2nd placed side racked up 276/4 and had the oppo 87/4, but they've recovered to 249/4 with 5 overs left.

I hope Muse wins, because his oppo was giving it large after beating Mrs BB in FC, OD and the Cup

Ferrets beat the leaders, so we finish a commendable 3rd, which I would definitely have taken at the start of the season.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not quite d+d for Mrs BB yet....

DIBS DIPPERS v monkey sloggers

monkey sloggers won the toss and elected to field.

End of Over 45: 215-5, runrate=4.78, reqrunrate=9.20 (260-4)
Mohammed 8-0-55-3
Crockett* 100 (120 balls)
Thorne 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Gayer b. Mohammed 15 (FOW: 215/5)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

YB's bowlers have recovered their poise after going for 32 runs off the 1st 2 overs of the last 10...

Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI v Park Avenue CC

Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 46: 239-6, runrate=5.20, reqrunrate=15.75 (301-9)
Daniels 8-0-43-1
Muir* 2 (2 balls)
Payne 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Whittle Run Out 42 (FOW: 239/6)

Meanwhile EGV look set to hand the title on a plate to the 2nd place side as they are 30 runs short of chasing a mediorce 220 odd with just 2 wickets left...

Muse wins, meanwhile the bottom side have had a bit of a collapse, and need 11 to win with 3 wickets left, although they have a guy 112*...

Mrs BB doing her best to lose, oppo needs 26 off 3 overs with 5 wickets left. Lose and she's in a relegation play-off....

Bottom side lose 2 more wickets including ton man, so need 3 to win off the last over. A Tie will give Muse the division...

Mrs BB concedes 12 off over 49, but takes 3 wickets, her oppo needs 8 to win. A Tie will probably ses Mrs BB in the play-offs...

2nd placed side TIES, and Muse takes the division

Mrs BB's oppo need 6 off the last 2 balls, with 1 wicket left....

Unbelievable, Mrs BB's oppo 9 down, and they hit a 6 off the penultimate ball to send Mrs BB into the play-offs....

Crazy last 30 mins.....

Missed the promotion cut and we go in to a play-off away at Mighty Mashervania.

Southchurch Village 289-8 - Last 101, 1st OD century this season, nicely timed! Birkett 131
Gloucester Gipsies 167 - Williams 4-13, Bowditch 3-39, Swart 2-52

Southchurch Village CC gloucester gipsies

I hope you get an easier division than mine.

I'll need to look at your opps match ratings vs mine on a GFI like today to see whether I could cope. I would like to think 5 or 6 is now well within my reach

Ratings today were batting - exception remarkable bowling - masterful miraculous. Batting will be strengthened in the break. Only mediocre fielding. Looking at friendlies that could be a factor next season.

the team that won our division were batting: masterful/masterful and bowling elite/masterful

Bloody hell, that wasn't my plan! I sold a bowler this week so had a wonderful/strong instead of an elite, expected to lose - I sold when I did because I assumed the formbook would stay and the 2nd placed side wouldn't lose to bottom place! How wrong I was. I better keep said wonderful bowler a week longer than planned now to play in next week's play-off!

Well happy to win the league since looking doomed to relegation after early days. Suffice to say my mid-season squad replacement plan worked as I stayed up in FC and won the OD division. Wasn't quite sustainable, mind!

How many of us have play-offs next week or have gone up automatically? Congrats to those already up and good luck next week to those with play-offs.

I havent played any friendlies so far -- what kind of factor is the fielding having?
