Battle of the Sitcoms !

I love Peep Show, as you know, but it's nowhere near The (US) Office and is certainly no Curb, which as I've said in the other thread, should walk away with any 'Best Comedy' awards what with it being the single most amazing show in the history of everything.

Frankly (and this is where I expect to lose any support I might have had) Friends is a better show than half of this list....

I absolutely love CYE, but in this country it's too niche and definitely not for everyone. In fact the current Mrs MK and another female friend watched it and they wondered what the fuss was all about. I fear it would struggle against the toss that is My Family or Goodnight Sweetheart.

So Mr Beefy, do the right thing and vote Blackadder!

Curb isn't for everyone's taste but it's actually caught on over here probably more than anywhere else in the World, including America. I was reading an interview with Jeff Garlin yesterday (as he's the one main human voice in Wall-E) and he was saying how Curb is a very English show with the Larry David character being heavily influenced by Basil Fawlty.

But yes, I shall consider supporting Blackadder.

Some absolute tough one's in there.

Seeing as some people are going down memory lane and pulling some classics out of the hat maybe we should have had them put into decades and winners from each group go against each other.

Oh, but then I have just remebered it's Blueblood doing this- too complicated for his standard :finger:

And i note you posted this up at 8 in the morning .. ON A WEEKEND !!!!!

BLUEBLOOD at 8am EVERY weekend = :zzzzz::zzzzz::zzzzz:

Lucky you! At 8 a.m. this morning I was on my way home from Tescos having spent huge amounts because some clever person managed not to close the freezer door properly after getting a lolly out!
