That said I love the Clergymans Digit, especially as in its bottled form is only surpassed by Newcastle Brown. Fullers ESB gives it a run for its money too!

Certainly a close run round. In the event of a tie I think I should have the casting vote, perhaps both sponsors will supply me with a quantity of both brews so I can judge them properly.;)

Whilst Bishop's Finger is a good pint (although not even my favourite Shepherd Neame pint) it isn't a great pint. Landlord is a great pint.

Landlord is so good it has many medicinal qualities. Amongst the many things it cures is: the common cold, hangovers, sore throats, thirst, sobriety. Personally, I wouldn't put it past being the cure for cancer either: it is that good.

I have the utmost respect for my worthy opponent here, but Landlord just doesn't have that extra smuttiness appeal of the Bishop's Finger - I just love that little byline in the advert........."near the knuckle". The interpretation value here is completely beyond compare and has to appeal to all the theoretically sex crazed men out there!


Just want to add, that I won't be about till well after this closes this morning, so wanted to say a big "thank you" to all those that have voted for my choice - you have good taste!
