Prosser been a stand out in a very good defence last couple of years, will be very harsh if he's dropped. I don't think Barrett and Prosser will play together.

Great player first time around at this level but have to say I prefer Proser AB was never blessed with speed and I think he will be found out now when he needs to turn and get back.

Does this mean I can get my 1 adam barrett t shirt out of the loft?. I have a slight suspicion ive put on a few pounds since I last wore it .

Great news for me, I hope he can help us push onwards and upwards. Welcome back!

Just a general question how does it affect current players when a club hero returns??? That first game for ad at roots hall is gonna be emotional with one adam barrett ringing round roots hall. Inspiring...or a bit of jealously

They will have to remember that in AB's last spell he was a club legend and instead of jealousy, surely they will realise that the reception he will receive is only accorded to the very best & those who have earned that accolade, something that every professional should aspire to during their career with whichever club they play for.

It'll be interesting to see if, when all fit, Brown will be tempted to go all Louis Van Gaal on League Two and adopt a 3-5-2.

A back three of Prosser, Barrett and Bolger doesn't look too bad on paper, and a midfield three of Deegan, Leonard and Payne doesn't look too shabby played behind a front two of Corr and whichever loanee tickles Brown's fancy that weekend.

It'd be typical of Brown to try and make a name for himself by introducing the continental delights of 3-5-2 to us League Two plebs as well.

Where would you fit Coker in that style of line-up?

You had me up until there...

Are you saying this will be the line up for Saturday. What about the other 2 in midfield.

According to Chris Phillips earlier today, neither Hurst or Barrett have trained so far this week so I wouldn't hold your breath about either of them playing Saturday.

Maybe John White will be looking over his shoulder as Barrett could be after that captains armband now:smile:
