All the makings of his last game. Two players out of the cold straight in. Hurst given yet another chance. What McLaughlin has done we will never know. Still it will be just like Southend to win this 2-0

Well, if it is, given his selections and performances over recent games, I'd be quite worried if I was a Bolton supporter. I've given up trying to understand the teams he sends out................perhaps the players have as well? Echo the comments of some, demanding what on earth McLaughlin has done?

Deegan Kamara
Hurst Wordsworth Payne
Barrett

Which doesn't sound too bad to me

Would imagine this will line up with the back four
Kamara and Deegan sat in front
Hurst Worsworth and Payne the supporting Barnett (all three at their best pretty effective going forward)
I like the set up if so.

Hurst has apparently earned a recall through form in training and U21 game- clearly he will be motivated and give it his all (might not work but at least it shows intent all round).

Ignoring the normal outbreak of negativity from the Victor's and Victoria's it might just deliver..

Looks like a team selection of a confused manager who doesn't know who his best players are. Also, he doesn't have a clue what system to play. I know we've done better this season than anyone expected, but the standard has been surprisingly poor in this league and with the players we have, it could end up being a wasted opportunity.

Looks spot-on to me, a very interesting formation very much akin to Liverpool etc at the moment.

Don't say that! I've been saying that for months and months and months now, but always get my head bitten off on here and on the FB group.

Regarding the team selection and formation/system (or lack of), I think he's lost the plot but I'm hoping and waiting to be surprised.
