Question Bands or solo artists you would like to see?

I am now on my sixties but still love seeing live bands.

Is there any groups, they must be still touring, that you'd like to see but haven't so far?

For me personally I'd love to see Kraftwerk and Massive Attack. I missed out on both in recent years for various reasons.

Over to you!

I've always wanted to see Mike and The Mechanics live again but when they rocked up to the Cliffs recently Mike Rutherford was the only member of the group with any longevity so I passed on that. Would love to see the Stones live again.

Guns n Roses - they did perform at the O2 (I think it was) a few years back, but I passed because of the price. At the same time I had 2 tickets to the mens' semis at Wimbledon which cost less than two tickets to the concert.

REM - I only got into them at the tail end of their career so never got to see them. There was a time when they were performing in the UK, but I was going on holiday to Israel and missed them. The irony being they had just left Israel for the UK!

Talking Heads - I'll never get to see them. I only got into them well after they split up. Someone I know told me a story about them (that I'm not sure I believe). He said his brother was in New York and was standing at a bus stop. He could hear someone humming Psycho Killer and turned round to find Dave Byrne also standing at the bus stop. He plucked up the courage to start talking to him, and Dave invited him to watch a full dress rehearsal of the "Stop Making Sense" tour that night. If that is true, it's an amazing story, but I have my doubts.

Would agree about Kraftwerk .They played Barna's Liceu (Opera House) a few years ago now and I've always regretted not going.(probablly saved a small fortune though).

Guns and roses- I had tickets for the “ docklands arena” in the early nineties, both times they cancelled last minute due to axle being an arse.

In 2017 they played at Stratford and were incredible.( and on time).
Brilliant brilliant concert , rolled back the years and he could still sing unlike many 80’s icons
